What is the problem that we are trying to solve?

Long Island is currently facing a housing crisis.  There are too many potential home buyers for the amount of inventory in the housing market.  Many people don't find out that a house is even available until it has already been sold.
Solution: The Home Alert App

The inventory data on the Home Alert app is tied into the database that is used by real estate agents. When a user creates an account on Home Alert, the app will alert them the instant that an available home that matches their preferences becomes available.
The first call to action on the Home Alert landing page is for the user to create an account and set their desired preferences.
The user is asked to enter their name, email address and mobile phone number.  The "Continue" button is inactive until all of the fields have a value entered.

When the user taps on the "First Name" field, the keyboard is evoked.
Because all fields have a value, the "Continue" button becomes active.
The user can choose to receive their notifications via email or text message.
The user has selected to receive their notifications via Text Message.
Because all fields have a value, the "Continue" button becomes active.
The user indicates what they are looking for from a single family home to vacant land.
The "Continue" button is inactive until all of the fields have a value entered.
The user has indicated that they would like a single family home.
When the user taps on the "Zip code/City/State" field, the keyboard is evoked.
Because all fields have a value, the "Continue" button becomes active.
The user is asked to select their desired number of bedrooms and bathrooms as well as their price range.
The user has indicated that they would like at least two bedrooms.
The user has indicated that they would like at least one bathroom.
The user has indicated that the price range should be between $650K and $850K.
Because all fields have a value, the "Continue" button becomes active.
The user is asked how often they would like to be alerted if there is a property match.
The user has indicated that they would like to be alerted "immediately".
Because all fields have a value, the "Save" button becomes active.
The user is told that their profile has been successfully created.
The call to action after the profile has been created is to "view properties".
